The Delaneys do Disney - 2011

I know this is soooooooo late, but I've been slacking in getting it done.  I admit it.  Here's a compilation of Kat's interaction with the characters at Disney.  This is the short version.  The long version is, well, long.  I tried to post it on Facebook but got a copyright infringement warning.  I bought the songs.  I should be able to publish them!  Grrrr.  Oh well.  Enjoy!

And Spring turns to Summer...

I know, I know, it's been a while. Summer showed up out of nowhere and I haven't posted since March! Where does time go??? Here are some pictures from the past few months. Enjoy!

We attended cousin Amy's confirmation in April and Katherine did great with her first time in a church since her baptism. Here's she is running from the camera.

We went to OCNJ for Memorial Day and, very uncharacteristic of a Delaney vacation, it was BEAUTIFUL weather! Even the ocean temps were not freezing. Katherine had a GREAT time playing with cousins Alex and Riley.

We went to the boardwalk a few nights and Katherine tried out a few rides. Here she is with Daddy riding "Flower."

This time it was the pink car. The time after was the yellow car. We can never repeat car colors.

The balloons started out hairy (a bit of crying) but Daddy kept cool (unlike Mommy) and sang "Wheels on the Bus" until calm was restored. She went on again the next night with a much calmer Mommy.

Katherine's Day Off

Katherine and Mommy have a day at home while Mommy's foot heals and Katherine gets over her cold. This is how she's spending her morning while Mommy is working and watching Princess and the Frog.

The Monkey turns 2!

Well, the month of August brought some pretty big milestones for Katherine. Not only did she turn 2, but she also got a big girl bed and moved to the older toddler room in school! Below are some of the highlights.

Laying in mybig-girl bed with Mommy! It's proven to be a hit at night and a bit more challenging for nap time, but overall a good thing.

The big gift this year was the tricycle. It has a handle on the back so Mommy and Daddy can push but I can also peddle if I want. Usually I don't want to so I just drag my feet.

Isn't it awesome! I ride every day if I can!

My birthday party was super fun! My aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents were all there (except for those on the west coast). I LOVED this Mickey singing card from Aunt Stacey, Uncle Chris, Nick and Amy! I still dance to it!

Look at all my presents! I'm sitting on the table Grammy and Pop-pop Cochran got me. It's built now so I sit on the chairs.

On Labor Day weekend I got to spend lots of time with two of my favorite cousins.

OCNJ 2010

We had a fantastic time at OCNJ in August for what turned out to be the nicest weather this Delaney family has had on a summer vacation in, well, ever! Here are some highlights...

Katherine really enjoyed her time on the beach, even stopping to have a little snack of plastic corn on the cob.



She loved jumping over waves!

We had a sandbar one day and Sean took a picture of how far out we were.

There was a gulley in front of the sandbar that came up to Katherine's chest. She got brave walking out!

Grandma and Pop-pop Delaney came to visit mid-week and brought an awesome bucket and toys! Katherine loved dumping the water on her head with the funnel.
